Dominion over government is the most impactful success the movement has enjoyed. It put Christian nationalists in power to set policies about public education, to dismantle DEI programs at state and federal levels, to terrorize immigrant families, to take away abortion rights and much more. Starting with effective gerrymandering of state legislatures and making appointments to the Supreme Court, they have been able to increase their power despite being a minority of the U.S. population.
